Meet The Trainers

Kellie Green

Hi! My name is Kellie and I am the incredibly proud owner of Mini First Aid Shropshire. I qualified as a paediatric nurse in 2013 and since I qualified I have been lucky enough to work in a number of different areas of nursing - but most recently found myself working in A&E. In lockdown I became a mommy myself - to a little girl called Brianna - and was able to see things from a different perspective. A parent's perspective. In November 2021 I decided that I wanted to share my skills and knowledge with other parents/ grandparents/ carers and anyone else who wanted to learn life saving skills. Not just this, but I wanted to be able to deliver these in a relaxed and comfortable style, make them available to those with newborns (I know what it's like to not want to leave your new baby!) My aim is to share with you the skills and knowledge to give you the confidence to know what actions to take if ever faced with a medical emergency. I can't wait to meet you (and your babies!) Kellie x

Charlotte Williams

As a midwife of 12 years and a mother, Charlotte is aware of the changes and stresses that happen when becoming a parent. Charlotte also runs “Blooming bump”, providing holistic midwifery care and not only does she want to empower women on their pregnancy journey, but she now also wants to empower parents to feel more confident when it comes to their little ones and first aid, making sure that others have the confidence to know how to react should something happen.

Claire Swintonski

Hi, My name is Claire and I’m so excited to be joining the Mini First Aid Team. I first met Kellie when she came to the school I am a Support Assistant at. I was absolutely blown away by her enthusiasm, knowledge and charm she gave to the children she taught. I have been a Teaching Assistant for 11 years and before that was an at home Mummy to three girlies, twins Grace and Billie, who are now 18 and Molly, who is 16. My passion for children and babies started when I trained as a Nurse then Midwife many years ago! My qualifications allowed me the privilege of travel to Australia where I spent 10 years as a Midwife, Postnatal Educator, Lactation Consultant and Early Childhood Health Nurse. Supporting the education of children in school has helped cement my knowledge and confidence when it comes to the physical and mental safety of our little ones. Mini First Aid offers everything a parent, carer, grandparent, anyone who has close contact with children would wish to learn to help keep them safe. I can not wait to get started! Claire. X

Sarah Saundry

Hi there, my name is Sarah and I’m delighted to have joined the Mini First Aid family! I am mummy to Alfie 4, and Clara 3, and have been a qualified nurse for 16 years. Throughout my career and now parenthood too, I have gained plenty of real life first aid experience. I would love to share this with you and look forward to meeting you all!
